A few words on our processes

In the field of surface technology, we are expanding our product and service spectrum by reaching out to reputable system partners, who are actively involved in the research and the development of new heat treatment and coating methods, and by know-how exchange contribute to making it possible for us to offer you a spectrum of hardness and coating technology that is most suitable and economical for your application.

We offer the following surface plating options:

Demagnetization

Another process offered by Abend Maschinenbau in subcontracting and part of the standard processing is the demagnetization of workpieces. At Abend Maschinenbau, demagnetizing is an essential part of quality assurance in production. Workpieces can be magnetized due to the processing itself - or due to incorrect handling by material suppliers who handle the workpieces with magnetic grippers. This can make machining considerably more difficult, as the removed chips (this also applies to the very fine grinding chips) adhere to the workpiece and can cause damage to the surfaces.
In addition, Abend Maschinenbau has a mobile device with which even large mechanical shafts can be demagnetized.
